The Law of Attraction

November 5th, I attended a mini tea talk given by Mr Michael Lossier, The Author of the Book "The Law Of Attraction" which was held in PSDC. It was an interesting and beneficial talk as he thought us on how to attract more of "WHAT WE WANT" and less of "WHAT WE DON'T"

We were all given some writing material to jot down important informations during his talk. Michael emphasized on the reason that we always attract the things that we do not want and sums it all up by telling us that "I GET WHAT I VIBRATE". At the end of the day, Michael basically gave the audiences a tool to attract more of what we want and less of what we do not want.

MK's 17th Birthday Bash

31st October, Saturday ... Halloween Day and also Ming Khai's Birthday Bash. I was invited to attend MK's Birthday bash that was held in Century Bay Apartment. Apparently they rented a open spaced hall and held the party there.

Before the party, Me n Louis went to QueensBay to get MK a present. Since MK's Birthday falls on the same day as Halloween day, we decided to get him a Trick or Treat Box =). The items inside the Trick or Treat Box are carefully selected for MK's preference and might come in handy for the stayover... hehehe

As you can see, we got him a can of Carlsberg for entertainment purposes, ash-tray,cigarette of his preference, a fire-extinguisher lighter for the obvious reasons, a box of mint for after tobacco, comic when he gets bored, chocolate in case he gets hungry ... "purple-pink box" in case he gets lucky tonight and Livita in case he gets 'TOO LUCKY' tonight !!!

Then we headed down to century bay for the Party ... The party was catered by Bamboo Buffet and they had a great selection of dishes...

Surprisingly, they have a compound for people to play pool, Chinese Chess, Chess, Ping Pong, a Bar to watch Football mathces and also to play PS 2 !!! me and some guys went to play pool for 1 hour while waiting for the cake cutting ceremony.

Soon, the cake cutting ceremony begins and everybody gathered bak at the Eating area.

And here we go ...

Finally a typical tradition where the Birthday Guy or Girl has to grab the last candle from the cake using only his or her mouth ... hahaha

Soon after the cake cutting ceremony, me and my friend went to continue our pool game and then chit chatted while waiting for Louis to finish his Liverpool football match ... The party at the hall area ended around 12 30 am but it was continued at the apartment where they had games and booze.

I left around 1 30 am for i was sleepy already, so louis fetched me and Gim Yong back home so that i can continue my Sweeeeeeet Dreams =)

Two Is Better Than One

I remember what you wore on the first day
You came into my life
And I thought hey
You know this could be something
'Cause everything you do and words you say
You know that it all takes my breath away
And now I'm left with nothing

So maybe it's true, that I can't live without you
Maybe two is better than one
But There's so much time, to figure out the rest of my life
And you've already got me coming undone
And I'm thinking two, is better than one

I remember every look upon your face,
The way you roll your eyes, the way you taste
You make it hard for breathing
'Cause when I close my eyes and drift away
I think of you and everythings okay
And finally now, believing

And maybe it's true, that I can't live without you
Well maybe two is better than one
But there's so much time, to figure out the rest of my life
And you've already got me coming undone
And I'm thinking two, is better than one

Yeah, yeah

I remember what you wore on the first day
You came into my life
And I thought hey

Maybe it's true, that I can't live without you
Maybe two is better than one
But there's so much time, to figure out the rest of my life
And you've already got me coming undone
And I'm thinking

Oooh I can't live without you
'Cause baby two is better than one
There's so much time, to figure out the rest of my life
And I've figured out with all that's said and done
Two, is better than one

Two is better than one.

*title-less*

It's like the story of The monkey trying to capture the moon...
However close he thinks he is to the moon... it is still just the reflection of the moon in the middle of the lake ...
No matter how he struggles to capture that "Moon", he inevitably sinks to the bottom of the lake at the end to no avail.

The Lantern Festival =)

The Lantern Festival is one of the most celebrated festival in Chinese Tradition. It is celebrated on the 15th day of the 1st month of the Lunar Year in the Chinese Calendar. On this very day, We are able to witness a full moon and therefore according to the chinese tradition, we should celebrate this day by going out at night and carry brightly and nicely decorated lanterns.

Till today, we still practice this custom and celebrate it with our friends and family ...
