Captain's Log:
Day 1, 28th December 2009 - Louis & Lennard and their parents had planned to visit Thailand for a couple of days for a holiday trip. They invited me and Ji Xiang, so we decided to tag along. We started our journey from Penang whereby a van came and picked us up and drove us straight to the Border.

Lennard ordered a Bird's Nest dessert with coconut filling in a roasted coconut.

After our lunch, we then walked the street to digest our food. In Hatyai, there are many stalls selling T-shirts, souvenirs, crafted art models, food and many more stuff...

PINK LADY COMPLEX... famous complex for "massage"

After 30 minutes of walking around the streets, we then headed back to the hotel to settle our bags and take a rest in the hotel room... We combined our bed so that 4 of us can sleep together...

After Dinner, we continued walking around the street and went for a round of full body massage. After 2 hours of massaging, we then decided to have a cup of "Teh Tarik" before we return to our rooms. During these hour of the night (12 am plus), you can see many "Chicks" starting their business by approaching foreign customers. I was approached by 1 "chick", asking me whether I want her service or not. lol

Dried Cuttlefish ...

Check out this 'Teh Tarik' guy ...

Louis ordered a Birds Nest desert ...

OOOOO lala ... check this out !!! The 'Teh Tarik' is really special because the milk and the tea is separately 'tarik-ed'. That is how the effects of 3 different layer is obtained. 1st the foam, 2nd the tea and 3rd the evaporated milk.

The young lady shaping the wire is pretty hot =)

Finally we all headed back to our room at around 1 am to get our rest for tomorrow is another exciting yet packed day =)
